My self-hosted setup as of the end of 2023
I've started self-hosting a couple months ago and this is where I'm at now.
I have a Nextcloud instance as a replacement for Google. Here's my apps:
- Calendar
- Contacts
- Cookbook
- Dashboard (Can't live without it)
- Deck (For managing tasks)
- External Storage Support (For FTPing to a small web hosting)
- Extract (Extracting files like .zip directly in Nextcloud Files)
- GitHub Integration (Notifications from GitHub in the Dashboard)
- Maps
- Mastodon Integration (Notifications from Mastodon in the Dashboard)
- Memories (Nice UI for looking through photos)
- Music
- Notes
- OIDC Identity Provider (Allows me to log into my other apps using Nextcloud)
- Passwords
- Reddit Integration (Notifications from Reddit in the Dashboard)
- Talk (Messaging in Nextcloud)
- Text (A text editor with Markdown support)
- Two-Factor TOTP Provider (2FA basically)
- Weather status (Shows weather)
Then there's Gitea as a mirror for GitHub and for a couple of my private projects. I use Nextcloud to log into it.
RustPad for editing code with others.
And Jump as dashboard to have everything in one place.
Now I'm looking for a new blogging platform, and I'll be happy.
